First I would just like to point out that the Siam Paragon shopping centre is a completely different shopping centre to MBK. The MBK shopping centre is not as up market as the Siam Paragon and is also very popular with Thai teenagers and most of the clothes, bags and belts etc… are copies/fakes! This is a huge mall, selling almost everything. However, so many tourists visit it that prices are inflated by up to 10 times. Also, it is impossible to get a taxi around SIAM Paragon and MBK without getting totally ripped off. I highly recommend taking the BTS (the sky-train) on your way back. A flabergasting shopping center in a city of flabergasting shopping centers. This one tops them all.
