I have been to Bangkok many times and i had never heard of Suan Lum then i came across it in the lonely planet, there is some really nice stuff quite unique. You can still get the fake stuff as well but if you want something unusual its the place to go, far more enjoyable than Chatachuk. Loads of places... more

Its a great place to shop. We stayed in Bangkok for 2 days and it we found ourselves here on both days.. got a couple of great deals.. though you might need to bargain a bit.... overall a good experience more

The Suan Lum Night Market is a great place to shop at night. It is open to late in the evening. We were there until 11:00 and there were lots of stores still open. great night market, great enterainment, so many shops. great atomposhere to this market. you wil need about 3 hours to have a good look. you won't find much fake designer bags compared to patpong but definitely some good clothes, shoes sunglasses etc. more

We stumbled across the silom night baazar by accident after getting pushed and shoved at the market. it is only five minutes away but what a difference !!
