I was in Chiang Mai in November 2011. Along other day trips, a day I wished to have a trekking day. In the tour shops were sold many kinds of tours, but I just wanted a pure single day of walking, so I was offered a "Panda Tour & Trekking" day trip. Long time ago I had already taken one... More

i did a half day mahout training course, and it was amazing! we were there for a long time, and they fed us a great meal after the elephent training and trek to the river. well recommended! the site is beautiful and in the middle of nowhere, so lots of room for the elephants! the trainers were great fun and... Just got back from the one-day trekking tour. Loved it! We decided to do mahout training with elephants at a conservation center one day, and a one-day trek through the jungle a diffirent day, instead of combining the two. Walking through the jungle was more like hiking through the jungle, but the majority of the time the ground was dry... More

We did an all day elephant training camp which also included bamboo rafting and a vist to the 7 hill tribes. We had a great time but the tour company had several of us mixed up in the wrong van. We had to change vans a couple of times before making some unexpected stops by a market and an elephant... More

Panda tours had been recommended to us for a trekking trip. We were twice the age of the other 10 on the trip, all in their 20s, and they were a terrific and eclectic group. The 3 day trek was much more difficult than we were led to believe. I don't just say this as a 50 year old--many of... More

I booked the one day elephant tour through my guesthouse. I didn't know it was Panda tours and I wasn't able to read any reviews. If I had read the other reviews beforehand I might have tried to look for another operator. Good thing everything turned out fine. I had looked through the different activities offered but my heart was... More

I did a 2 day walking only trek. First day was ok - lot's of on road walking but the 2nd day was great as most was spent in the jungle. The guide was great and knew a lot about the forest and spoke english very well.

We've chosen to go on the 3 day (2 nights) ECO trekking tour. This tour will lead you through the jungle without seeing any other groups and allows you to stay with actual tribes living in the mountains! We've had a amazing tour and enjoyed all the views very much, thanks to our tourguide Sha!

Opted for the 1day option giving a trek, village visit, elephant ride and white water rafting. Guides were nice enough but the rest is a bit of a sham. The trek is just about ok,village visit fairly pointless as lasts all of 3minutes. The elephant park visit left us with a bitter taste.im no expert but it seems as though they're badly... More
