Have visited a few aquariums on my travels but this is not worth visiting and is a very poor attraction, operators should have a look at Townsville in Australia to see how it should be done. Very boring with no interesting features

Extra entry fee after you go into the zoo, but for one time is a very good aquarium. Take the tram for aquarium up there instead of walking, then walk down thru the zoo.

If you like aquariums and especially if you have kids this is a good place to go. It´s quit new and the entrance fee is much cheaper than the aquarium under Siam Paragon i Bangkok.

We went to Chiang Mai Zoo and Aquarium on a hot day in October. The zoo is quite spread out and very hot to walk around. The best aquarium! Amazing tropical fishes. We love the place & spent hours here. Highly recommended, indeed.

Make sure you get a tuktuk or taxi here. Its cheap and very cheerful indeed. Unlike most zoo's, everything is very spaced out and you can easily spend the whole day there if you opt to walk around the whole zoo!

lovely, big, modern, world class aquarium. Very professionally done and the marine animals on display are totally fascinating. Right beside the zoo and zoo admission includes entrance to the aquarium. The only downside was that the tunnel conveyor was not working. Why on earth it was not working in such a new aquarium was beyond me. But, certainly worth visiting this aquarium... More
