I have nothing new to add to the comments. But I feel so enthusiastic about this experience, I just wanted to give it our thumbs up as well. It was FANTASTIC!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! The day at Patara Elephant farm was awesome. The staff were lovely and Pat is obviously very devoted and passionate about elephant care and breeding. A great full day that has left me with memories I will never forget. I felt like I was actually living with the elephants for the day, swimming with the elephants was my highlight. The Patara elephant experience was simply awe inspiring. To be able to ride an elephant up and down a jungle mountain was the experience of a lifetime. My friends and I (all in our 20's) LOVED this day. It is probably my favorite experience for our six week trip. While a bit on the expensive side, the experience is WELL worth it. Highly recommended to everyone. more
