We enjoyed the ride with the elephant, that was fun. Pissed off by our elephant driver who was taking pictures of us like crazy trying to earn a large tip... (don't buy a picture before the ride with the elephant, the driver will take your picture with your camera-of course expecting a tip..). The elephant show was ok, nothing special-tourists... More

A little concerned at how the animals are treated at this place. I understand it's not a first world country with modern conveniences, but I'm unsure that the animals are all treated humanely. It felt more like a circus to be honest.

Do not go here, the animals are not treated well. The elephants are on very short chains stepping from one foot to another, totally disturbed behaviour. I cant believe that tourists stand before the animals and take pictures like crazy and do not see that the animals are not ok! One elephant after another for elephant trekking. We also visited... My husband and I visited the safari park whilst on our honeymoon from the UK and it was the worst abuse of animals I have ever seen. The elephants are kept on small chains even the baby elephants. One baby elephant was chained up on its on with no water and it was just walking about looking very disturbed. It... More

Beware, our taxi driver recommended this place. Little did I know that the drivers get a cut for bringing people there. The place was awful, sick looking elephants, and trainers stabbing then with hooks. One of the elephant drivers told our friend in Thai, that he hadn't hadn't been allowed breakfast or water, and it was 4pm at the time...... More

What a terrible place, drugged tigers, skinny and mistreated elephants, thinking about this place almost brings me to tears. I am ashamed to have taken photos with a drugged and chained tiger which was hit in the face when it wouldn't look at the camera. We walked past a teenage elephant which was wandering round in circles because it was... More
