Go here any day for a great selection of bars and restaurants at reasonable prices. Fridays are brilliant as you have the market along the street selling crap goods and great food and drinks. Great atmosphere.

Slightly Laid back yet great atmosphere, many bars, many restaurants, many knick knack stores and a lovely beachfront. Thats what the Fisherman village is about. We chanced upon a restaurant (forgot name) in the village and they served the best lobster spaghetti in the world! My partner had the most wonderful barracuda steak. The location is quiet and next to the beach (we went during lunch). I would imagine dinner to be noisier. But the food served is way too good.

We visited Bophut's twice on Friday nights during our stay in Koh Samui after being recommended to by our hotel staff. The Friday night market has plenty of food stalls, cheap drink/cocktails and plenty of other knick-knacks. We really enjoyed walking the streets, eating in restaurants and lazing the night away. On Friday nights you will find inexpensive drinks and lots of knick-knacks at the market stalls. Enjoy!
