I stayed at Chaweng Beach for 10 nights with my boyf and had a brilliant time. The whole island is amazing, beautiful sun, sea and sand - what more could you want. It is a really busy place during the evening but during the day it is a bit slower paced and some of the shops/stalls do not start opening... more

So far my favorate place in Thailand (as a whole Island)........sand,sea and sun. This town is busy almost 24 hours a day super resturants, good nightlife (the sex industry is here but not as prolific as some areas). Great shopping, great beach (but the one at Lamai is better) so much to do. Here is a few things i tried............... more
