Quite impressive with beautifully maintained gardens a couple of hours we found to be sufficient, light refreshments available and closer to Pattaya that we thought. Free admission. The whole site is maintained by the Thai Military.

Were supposed to go to Buddha hill, but with the language barrier with our taxi driver, we ended up going here from nong nooch garden going back to our hotel. we even did not know whats the name of this place as all signage are in Thai, and not until i found it here at tripadvisor the name of this...

Beautiful gold budha inlaid into the mountain,the image is called Phra Phutta Maha Wachira Uttamopat Satsada and it was something to do with a kings birthday celebration I cant remember exactly but there plenty of signs to explain the history in english and its FREE,,beautiful gardens well worth a quick visit only 15 minute drive out of Pattaya you can...

Buddha mountain or khao chi chan is a mountain that has the buddha shape cut out done by laser then gold inserted into the gap the cost is several 100 million THB Good Scenery
