Koh Larn has a very clean and spacious beach. Well worth a visit. Many speed boats or 30b ferry boat will get you over to the island. Be warned. The toilets on the island especially around the beach areas are foul.

From the Bali Hai Pier going to Koh Larn Island, one can pick two options the ferry boat or the speed boat, with the ferry boat fee is 30baht one way and your just going to docked on the koh larn pier, the 150baht is the round trip ticket and you can choose where to drop off, there's three color...

Do not take an organised trip or speedboat to this island. They are overpriced. Instead walk through Walking Street to the Bali Hai Pier and walk along the pier to the ferryboat where you can travel to the island for just 30BHT each way.
The island is getting a little too comercialised but the white sands are amazing and the...

Pattaya is never famous for its beaches. Koh Laan is only a mere 20 minutes ride (by speedboat) from Pattaya. Water is clear & blue. Sand is soft & white. Swimming, snokelling, jet skiing or just simply lay down & soak in the sun... Plently of food are served there & some simple shopping too
The big ferry out there is dangerous at times, people have drowned in accidents - few life jackets, no safety inspections. The beaches are clean, except after last year's floods when garbage was washed out to sea from Bangkok. Transportation and food are more expensive. I don't want to return.
The Sea Walker must be experienced though bit costly. Koh Larn is excellent but avoid during Summer , it is unbearably hot.
One of my most favorite islands...that i have to visit again and again. so convenience...close bangkok so easy to travel there. i recommend to rent a motorbike and explore around the island, you have to try all 7 beaches!
Hired a speed boat and was taken to the island - taken to a place where there are dozens of sunbeds and a very slick operation to get people in and out - the water was very shallow and spoilt by the amount of jet skis and speed boats - better than pattaya beach though - made a change for...

A little disappointed as the best part of the day for us was the ferry ride over. Once you are there (on the back side/nice beach), there really isn't much to see and do. Probably should have gone to the other side of the island where the beaches aren't as pristine, but would have had more to do.
flying very good but they say it s 20 m but just 10 m the beach not clean garbagage were all around so awfull :(
