This is not a zoo it is an aligator farm, even the sacred elephant are kept in a disgracfull enclosure and have to beg for fruit( which they sell), we where absolutly horrified with conditions.It is a disgrace to Thailand which we love and we are very surprised it is still open,The world animal rights have a lot to answer... more

Phuket Zoo is a little eye opening. The conditions for the animals is a little sad. But a great day for the family. We got to have photos with the monkeys (for a small fee maybe 200BHT).
