Great place during the day, plenty of shopping and bars and cafes. Not that busy though compared to Patong. Not really a place you would want to be if you and your partner just want a relaxing stroll after about 11pm as the dodgy buggers come out then.

This is the best beach in Phuket. Clean and very long, its only aloud to have 2 rows with sunchairs and thats very good because the beach will never feel crowded. Over 3 km long, perfekt for walking between youre swimming.

Sensational place to stay for families, you have everything you can want here. We stay at The Moevenpick each year and have nothing but fun !!! Great restaurants locally, excellent markets and clean beaches.

We had a fun filled 9 days at Karon Beach which offered so much to see and do. Locals were always friendly and the price of food often left us wondering if we were undercharged. The Access Resort was beautiful.... featuring narrow swimming pools just outside our front door. We will return again.

Not my favourite Phuket beach, it feels a little bare without the trees to provide shade that Kata beach has. Watch out for rip tides in front of the Hilton Arcadia hotel

Karon has a very clean beach and some excellent seafood restaurants. Massage parlors are all over the area. As for the community life, we have mostly seen older couples, divers, and Russian tourists during our stay. However, if you are looking for a night out in a club, a taxi to Patong will cost you 400 baht one way.
