A theatre style performance consists of mainly elephants show and traditional Thai dancing, and occassional special visual/sound effects. There are also some stalls and street performances outside the theatre to enjoy before the main show, and a huge shinny buffet restaurant right next to it. It's some fun but too pricey overall. The building design and buffet is good, that's how it get the 2 stars. I can't believe this show made it to the 'must see' event in Phuket. Reminded us of Disney but with a Thai feel to it. Very clean, very colourful and cheesy songs everywhere. Buffet was very good - lots of choice and our food choices were delicious. Lots to see while waiting for the show to start - stalls to buy gifts at; can have an elephant ride if want to pay a bit... more

It was nice to come here for my wife and myself. It reminded us of las vegas+disneyland, but for the Thai culture. The food buffet was amazing and one of the best places we ate during our whole stay in Thailand (please keep in mind it was only 400 baht per person). FantaSea is great for family's and pretty much everyone. You can enjoy a buffet dinner, elephant rides and a drink or tea at one of the bars before the show. more

I recommend everyone to go to Phuket FantaSea... It's a great little cultural theme park, it has a massive buffet dining hall, and the show is brilliant... Also you have the opportunity to take a photo with a baby tiger cub, ride an elephant... more

We were told this was a must see, and the buffet was the biggest in asia.. well the buffet was the biggest as in the number of people attending.. food was very instituional and in many cases cold... dessert was terrible.. This is a great show for all the family. It is a cultural presentation of Thailand ,depicting the history of the country. The costumes, performances, and animal acts are all very professional. If you go to Phuket, please make the effort to go. Its really worth seeing. more
