The kids liked it a lot. They climb the houses and there was a lot of space to run around. This was my second visit and I will probably go back again. Its a very nice museum.

“A must see if you're not travelling in the North”

This museum gives you a good idea of the rich heritage provided by the ethnic minorities of Vietnam (55). If you go to the museum after visiting the highlands and North Vietnam, it will be a little redundant.

Vietnam's Museum of Ethnography is all that a museum should be. It has informative exhibits, information in several languages, and can be viewed in approximately two hours. The museum focuses on the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam and explains each of them separately. Be sure to stop for the videos--most of them display the death rites of many of the... More
