This Museum has no fee to enter. It's located in a old 3 floor building and on each floor there is a section dedicated to a period of hystory or to different phases of the women's life in Vietnam. So you'll see from the tipical dressing, including wedding, to the relevant section about the war till the important roles that... More

Due to my interest in understanding women's struggle in Vietnam this was the first place I went to while visiting Ho Chi Minh CIty. However, the maintenance of this place requires some attention because there was a power cut and there was no back up for over an hour. The museum itself is a very well portrayed depiction of the... This museum was incredible. I don't think I've seen a museum anywhere in the world that has such good coverage of the role of women in the countries modern history. It represents women as mothers, leaders, politicians, crafts people, martyrs, prisoners, soldiers, freedom fighers and hero's. It is well worth a visit and one might easily spend a few hours... More

Three floors of interesting sources of information about Vietnamese women. Unfortunately, no air conditioning. From the outside it looked like this museum was closed. It could do with a better frontage. I am surprised the museum is free it was so good!

If you are interested in women's issues then you could stop by. It's free to enter and you get displays on women's work, dress, and what they did in the wars. The displays are not always translated well in to English, and be prepared for some propaganda. It's mostly photos and some relics behind glass.

This museum showed the role women have played in Vietnam's history. One section showed various women's clothing throughout the years. Another section showed the part women have played in the country's revolutionary struggle against the French & Americans. It's a worthwhile museum to visit if you're in the area and is dedicated specifically to women.
