Took the market tour along w/ the cooking class and it was a great experience for a beginner of Vietnamese cooking. Staff was friendly and the cooking class well-organised and well-paced. A nice treat and something different than the usual sightseeing.

We heard about Vietnam Cookery Center by another couple we met. The class is incredible - It was such a great cooking class, the trip through the market was such fun! You learn so much about the way it all works - a must do!

My wife and I have a good time to cook Vietnamese dishes. I think I'm not good at cooking, I retry the experience next time at the end of our stay in Vietnam. Otherwise, everything was perfect at the school and staff and that was a great time of relaxation. We advise our friends to jump in this cooking school... More

Half day cooking class to learn five dishes, it was fun. With my friends there to taste the dishes of each to see which is as good as the dish of the chef of the school. We recommend this school to Ho Chi Minh ( Vietnam Cookery Center ). Unfortunately we have to go to the north otherwise we take... More

We echo the previous remarks about this being a course for tourists looking for a fun outing. The class was only 2.5 hours long including about an hour eating and talking to classmates. To have to pay for drinking water was a little rich given e price of the lesson. If you are going to Hanoi go to the Hanoi... More

Absolutely super fun. A bit chaotic at times but it's worth every $ (or dong). If you love Vietnamese food - or you're simply curious about how it's prepared - go visit. It almost make you feel brave enough to try the street food. Almost.

(It's spelled 'Centre'). We are a family of 4 (all adults). We took an afternoon class, during which we cooked dinner. We all loved it! The school was very clean and well organized. The chef was Vietnamese and didn't speak English but they had a very sweet translator who explained everything. Everything we made was authentic and delicious! After the... More

This is an okay cooking class--but it's definitely aimed at tourists who are looking for an activity, not for people that actually want to learn to cook Vietnamese food. However, it is a fun activity, and would maybe be fun for a family group. They didn't bother really teaching us anything, and their version of having us cook was to... More
