This was brilliant part of our trip. great guide and fantastic experience.
We booked our tour in Ho Chi Minh for $12. Best money ever spent. We went through the Mekong Delta, saw a honey farm, tasted the honey, held a snake and went to the coconut factory.
Highlight was the lunch on the river where we had elephants ear fish. Sounds and looks horrible but it was beautiful.
Best tour we...

Our family had the greatest day. Mr. Van of Vietnam Alive arranged for us to rent bicycles and ride along the Delta to visit with families and see how they lived. It was wonderful. Our guide was so enthusiastic about sharing his culture and country. He was willing to bike and stay out long past the time of the tour....

This is an excellent day tour of about 9 hours. You have a scenic road drive to the Mekong where you transfer onto a boat & visit outer parts before transferring to paddle boats where a woman will paddle up the Mekong River. You will then have a ride on a horse & cart , then lunch (Cobra snake is...

First off we were collected from our hotel and boarded a comfortable bus, all things good so far.
After 3 and a half hours (no delays or traffic and not one and...

It takes about an hour and a half drive from Ho Chi Minh City to get to the Mekong Delta. The drive is never boring as you observe the Vietnamese getting on with their day to day tasks. Not your typical motorway rest stop. Order a drink and sit in a hammock which are everywhere. Once you get onto the...
