Like a visit to a holocast museum this is not uplifting and does not leave you happy to be part of the human race. Nonetheless the photos and stories in the museum really show the VC perspective of a war I have only really been exposed to by American biased movies. Well laid out and very good value for money... You need this visit to appreciate Vietnam today. A hard place to visit, a moving account of a terrible war. The photography exhibit is especially gripping.

Atmosphere in the museum was very reverent. Lots of photos and articles from the American/Vietnamese war.

Really sad for all countries/ survivors and victims involved. A real eye opener. Maybe a little one sided as it is a communist country?!

Besides WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War is another tragic pass. Lots of touching photos and artifacts (especially the foetus and still born babies).

1st stop on our HCMC Discovery Tour - spent around an hour wandering around the museum and its grounds. Lots of pictures & information to take in. Didnt really know anything about the Vietnam War before our visit - the museum did its job and made us appreciate what happened during and after the Vietnam War.

This display of weapons and photographs is well worth a visit. It has had a number of name changes through the years and was called "The American Atrocities Museum" so very few Americans visited, then it was called "The Atrocities Museum" and featured a number of bottled babies.. now it is called the "War Remnants Museum" which still holds a... We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this museum. It was good to learn of the Vietnam War from the perspective of the Vietnamese. This is a well presented museum which will leave you feeling a little emotional.

We were shown a lot of pictures containing people being tortured during the Vietnam war.Mostly are people being killed when soldiers shoot them or torture them in a prison. There were a lot of stories there too to tell you about how the life's like now after and during the war especially Agent Orange. They showed pictures of kids that were physically/intellectually...
