It supposed to be in the An Dinh Palace. Coming with a taxi we stopped in front of the garden/pond area with a yellow building in the background. The guy at the entrance informed that the museum was closed but we could have a look from outside. We did a round in the "garden" where once the theater was standing... More

We tried to find the museum at the address listed but were unsuccessful. By chance, we were walking along Le Loi steet between the 2 bridges and saw a lovely estate with a sign for the museum. It seems to be under construction and does not appear to open at the present time,

The museum doesn't have much to show, but a few recent paintings were interesting.

The Anh Dinh Palace is really lovely, though you approach it from the back, where it looks rather odd and assymetrical. Take in the porcelain and other collections in what must be the old stables, then go round to the front and admire the facade and pavillion.Inside the main building are some fantastic wall paintings and much German-aided restoration :... Not much to see at present. The museum resembles a building site and it looks to be undergoing complete renovation.
