An independent trip to the Bangladeshi Sundarbarns isnt tourist friendly and will be a test of ur skills and patience. The UNESCO World Heritage site is extremely fragile lacking tourist infrastructure & left to former fishermen with little experience. Just returned from a trip to the Sundarbans in Bangladesh. Wow! Amazingly beautiful, prisitine wildnerness. What a contrast to the frenetic megacity of Dhaka. We travelled there on a Guidetours boat.
