Recommend visiting Kampong Ayer by both foot and by boat. First, find a friendly water taxi from the steps near to Yayasan shopping centre to take you on a tour. It's also a good way to cool down as the outboard engines on these boats certainly pack a punch ensuring a windswept look. (The driver will probably try and sell... more
