Amara spa is classy, clean, and professional. Yes it is more expensive than the other store front massage and "spa" places, but this place also provides a wonderful atmosphere. I disagree with the previous poster's assessment of this spa, but please know that I probably have a completely different perspective on my experience. From the advertisements and from the pavement, this shiny new spa in Phnom Penh LOOKS like it has potential as an expensive treat. Boasting a modern, designer feel and menu of treatments costing 2 or 3 times the standard price in other well-established spas, I "treated" two visiting friends and myself to an hour's Khmer massage here with high expectations.... more
