My friends and I love to watch the monkeys hassle the tourists and the Khmer's have done a very good job keeping the place clean and improving the overall looks of the only hill in Phnom Penh. Check it out for sure, but keep your stuff close to you and watch out for those crazy monkeys. The are smarter and... More

Lat time we were here the monkeys stole my wife's sunglasses and my sons water bottle, but this trip even the clock was working although the election speakers were blaring at damaging sound levels so we did not stay long. But you can see they are now really taking an interest in keeping the grounds kept up and actually cleaning... More

Not a big temple, but worth a visit it for its historical values. Seems the beginning of Phnom Penh was from temple - indirectly the oldest temple in the city.

Easy to get to, centre of town, and great views. Incredible Stupa's and very ornate temple.

Well, maybe this is because I just visited temples from Siem Reap, which was muuuuuuuucchh amazing. SO this temple is only just for another stop for me. It's not impressive, kinda boring I must say.

An easy visit in PP. Worthwhile, historical, easy. Makes for a nice 1 hour visit.... end of the day is best to avoid the heat.

Wat Phnom is also known as Temple of the Mountains or Mountain Pagoda. This temple is the tallest religious structure in the city, built in 1373. During my visit some sort of a concert was held under the hill where the temple is, so we had some noise that is not common in buddhist temples. However, I decided to ignore... More

As the Buddist temple, it is a wonderful place for the people to visit. The temple is not very big but quite elegant. The traditional music played in the site is quite and amazing stuff. It simply sounds great!
