Karakol Ski Base is one of the secrets of Central Asia. While the lifts are in need of updating, but moutain is amazing. The lodge is very nice (to Kyrgyz standards) and the kitchen is quite good. It's located near Karakol in a town that holds a lot of potential to be the "Aspen of Asia"! more
