A little run-down now but a place to see some wonderful Buddhist painting and sculpture. The Bogd's Palace gives some insight into the lifestyle for the aristocrats in Mongolia at the turn of the 20th century. Wonderful gateways in to the temple.

Interesting and well worth a visit. The Winter Palace is beautiful in itself and the museum offers a wonderful insight into the final days of the Khans.

Bogg Khan palace is in the need of constant preservation efforts. It's located very low and close to the river and wooden constructions suck humidity, which destroys the incredible interiors of this royal settlement.
