Impressive statues and sights that's perfect for a quick stop, not too much more though.

I choose Selena Tour company, based in Ulaanbaatar, for my custom 3 day tour. They were great, you get your money's worth with them, highly recommended. I did a National Parks tour, and my driver and guide were very flexible with my wishes. They are the real deal.

this is a beautiful square and huge statue of Chngiss Khan. Be very careful though, so many pickpockets will try and get in your backpack, pocket, purse or jacket pockets. They are skillfull and know many people losing a phone, computer or wallet here. Dont go alone, day or night and watch each others back.

Sukhbaatar Square fronts the main Parliament Building and has some rather impressive statures of guess who? It can be a focal point for parades and of course is a natural place for all tourist to visist at least once on a trip. As far as squares go, it's quite nice, and quite square. It's relatively free of pigeons and beggars, and very clean. There are a few good statues to take pictures of, but all in all, it's a square. Not a great deal to get excited about here...

Possibly some good live concerts this summer. Nice statues of Chinggis and his cohorts on the Parliament Buiding.

Very fun in the summer time, dozens of people out enjoying the sun, roller blading or just strolling. Take a picture in front of the government house or the statue of Sukhbaatar. For a romantic date, try one of the many tandem bikes that can be rented at the square!

this place is situated at the heart of Ulaanbaatar... you should never miss it.... the wide park with the parliament on it...plus good shopping and dining places around it..
