Unique and beautiful architecture. It's the biggest mosque I have ever seen. It is ideally located in a huge quiet garden at the foot of the mountain not far from the center of the city.

A great monument in Islamabad. The turkish architect did an excellent job combining old Ottoman style with a modernist approach. Go in the evening and stay till it gets dark. Its one of the best mosques in the world, Its located in the foreground of the beautiful margalla hills. So it looks very beautiful having hills in its background, So this was its exterior. The mosque's interior is tremendous. With marble flooring, beautiful courtyards and a beautiful hall. Its a must visit place for the people who visit Islamabad.
