The Egyptian bazaar is great fun. Full of noise and smells. Watch out for pickpockets in the outdoor sections though, it gets very crowded there, so makes it easy for them to operate. This bazaar is full of character and I feel is definitely a must see when in Istanbul. The Egyptian Bazaar (Misir Carsisi) is a lot smaller than Grand Bazaar, a little more traditional and less crowded. You can find a great selection of spicies and turkish delights in here. Some of the stores close at 12 o'clock for one hour. more
