It is a goreous protected forest, but I would assume oen would travel to Turkey for other reasons... not top of the list for tourist destinations.

Belgrad Forest is lovely! There is a several kilometer trail around a large water reserve. The only downfall is that it is very hard to reach without a car. Only real fresh air in Istanbul. Walking or biking trails as well as breakfast nooks.
Always nice to go to on the weekends for a little greenery and to get out of the city for a bit. Fun to go walking through the forest.
