Bagdat street is a very nice place for shopping or just walking. You can find anything you want. Classic brands, boutiques, tatoo shops, a huge variety of restaurants and bars, cinemas, galeries, book shops. Also you can swim, ride a bike, skate or sunbath in Caddebostan. One of the best places to visit in Anatolian part of İstanbul.

Importance for it is a historical sight firstly, and glamour for how an avenue it is today! Bagdat Avenue was... More

It's just a big avenue with traffic jam half the day, and expensive shops (mostly western) on both sides. Makes some residents proud, because it's modern, but I think it's not much interest for visitors.

Bagdat Street is in fact a large and a long avenue but the main attraction is not all along. If you want to have a nice walk, start walking from Suadiye and end your walk around Caddebostan. It is mainly a shopping avenue with many restaurants, bars etc. I don't think it is very touristic but I also don't understand... More
