well preserved site, I can't imagine how people in the past build such a large city. Thanks Turkish people rebuilding it from the ruins.

May is still uncrowded. I didn't have to wait for anything or push through elbow-to-elbow people. We particularly liked the terraced houses, well worth the extra 15TL to get in. And of course the latrines were a delight!

Fabulous place with amazing ruins - some of which are in pretty good shape. It was awfully crowded - We were sometimes swamped by tour groups. It is still worth going to. Skip the audio guide.

Early morning or late afternoon is the best time to visit this oustanding place. I would suggest to take a tour guide otherwise you will miss a lot of interesting stories and places. I do regret I did not take a guide....
