The German Colony in Haifa, remnants of the settlement from the Christian German Templers' movement in the 1800s (not to be confused with the Templars of Dan Brown fame) is probably the best in the country, with great restaurants and a spectacular view from below of the Baha'i gardens.

A restored neighborhood of the 19th century. Interesting architecture, original German inscriptions over doorways, fair collection of restaurants, and easy to get to.

Good restaurant and caffes with bustling sidewalks and beatiful rennovated main street and building in the style of the early 20th century makes this a fun place to go to. The view of the Baha'i gardens lighted at night is breathtaking.
