What a plethora of sights, sounds, and smells! Bring cash (do not use your credit card unless in a very reputable place) and wear shoes with non-skid soles. Many of the places have been walked for so long that the stones have become as smooth and slick as glass. Even my running shoes slipped...so be careful. Haggle if you are... More

One of the few places on earth I would walk to see again. The atmosphere is beyond description, and I strongly suggest a good tour guide. You don't want to miss a thing. The Church and the tomb were exceptional for ANY religion to appreciate. Wonderful history lesson.

Have good walking shoes and lots of water:) A map is always helpful. The people are amazing and the places of worship are beautiful.
