the church is divided among different christian creeds and every morning the church door is open by a Muslim keeper as a neutral intermediary.should go early in the morning, very crowed

This church is amazing. In order to better understand it a little research is definitely in order. The Greek Orthodox church oversees the tomb and the rock of golgotha sections and do a great job of keeping the visitors moving through their areas. We went the week after Easter and in some areas we could barely move.

A horrible place, full with idols, lots of people, a very heavy atmosphere for a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian. I don't recommend it at all, moreover it's more than certain that it;s not the place of the crucifiction and burial.

Beautiful church in a beautiful city - lots of gold - to think that Jesus' body lay there - the dome over where his body lay is beautiful and amazing how the light shines down - if you hate crowds, do not go near any holy days
