You will spend some time in line to go in to the tomb, and you will feel a bit rushed to leave knowing there is a long line behind you (only about six people can reasonably fit in there at one time)...but, it will only take that small moment in time to create a memory to last you a lifetime.... This place is favored as an alternative to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher as a possible site for the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. First of all, historically, that is just not the case. The tombs are not from the First Century C.E. So this was NOT where it happened, no matter what its evangelical patrons may say. It... More

So powerful! At the Garden Tomb, they show you what they believe to be Galgotha, and you can see it and get a picture by it for yourself! It was one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and moving places all in one location! I highly recommend it!

If in fact this is the tomb what I find interesting is how close it is to where Yeshua was Crucified. There are two other locations that also lay claim as to being the tomb... all in all interesting

Undescribable calm and peaceful atmosphere. A nice experience. Great for Christian groups to sing praises, read the Word, have communion. Need to see!

maybe, there are differing opinions, but this matched all my ideas of what it might habe been, and they make a persuasive Biblical case for it, in any case, absolutley worth the 1 hour visit

We decided to visit the Garden because it is too close to the Old City, and the lady at the entrance welcomed us very friendly giving us a short explanation of the site. Very neat. Free entrance. It is a very interesting different point of view of History, and at the end we are not sure of the exact place... More

A haven of tranquility among the hords of tourists, visit early morning if you can and you will be as close to heaven as possible. Very friendly guides take you around at the usual brisk pace and explain the logic of thinking this is where Jesus's tomb was located. Who knows but with the flowers in bloom and the birds... More

Although we don't know exactly where Christ died, buried, and arose this is the closest when you visit.
