It is a small and very beautiful church, but it most important asset in the view. The church is build in a westward direction, and not eastward - making it a unique church (perhaps the only on in the world facing west). This was done in order that the church would face Temple Mountain, and the view of the dome... More

“Worth stopping at”

If you are walking down the Mount of Olives it is worth stopping to visit this modern Church if only for the stunning view from the window framing the Dome of the Rock.
