If you have the time you should visit this ancient cemetery which gives you a clue to the Jewish devotion to Jerusalem

My title says it all. The place itself is amazing - over 2000 yrs old, and used most of that time for Jewish burial (except for 1099-1187, and 1948-1967). But, and it is a big, serious but, the site is very dangerous because of criminal elements from the nearby Arab slums. I was at three funerals, where if we'd not...

The location offers a lovely view of the Old City. There is much historical and cultural significance at that site.

The is a very old cemetery that is still in use. It is important because it overlooks the Holy City and the Temple Mount. It is traditional to place a stone on the top of a tomb when you visit a family member. The more stones the more visits.
