I love Jewish history and this place is fantastic ! There are moving films from Asia and of the shtetl es which reduced me to tears. I think you need lots of time here and you can research your family. The grounds are beautiful and there is a lovely cafe and gift shop. Highly reccommended.

What a great walk through history, to learn how our ancestors were treated, how they made their way through the most difficult times and places down through history, their strength, belief in themselves and their community. This is why we still are a people, survivors who ultimately prospered and are now strong.

The best part of this fascinating museum is the third floor, which focuses on the various forces that caused the Jewish diaspora, starting with the Persian conquest in the fifth century BCE and the move to Baghdad, coming full circle to WWII and Establishment of the state of Israel. The first two floors are interesting, but mostly about the traditions... More

An excellent display. Educational and beautifully presented. Very informative, creative and dramatic. One of the best in all of our visits to museums dealing with Judiasm. (Round the World) We spent over 3 hours and could have extended our stay. A good cafeteria available.

A beautifully laid out museum in the university grounds. One can spend many hours learning about the Jews and their movement around the world. Do not miss this!

Lots of history, with models, pictures and beautiful displays. Computerised genealogy assistance. I particularly liked the models of European synagogues, many of which had been destroyed.

This is a very big museum with OK content -- nothing too exciting and the poor lighting made it difficult to read some of the exhibit signage.

This is the ONLY place in the WORLD where you have the possibility to trace your family name back in time -,centuries before your birth.
