It is not a museum per se, as this is the place Israel's declaration of independence actually took place – the exhibit is not the main attraction. There is a side-room with a small exhibition of the various (very very interesting) drafts made of... More

Unless you have zero interest in an incredible story of the birth of a modern nation, don't miss this. You'll appreciate Israel and appreciate your own nation's heritage.

This is a very small museum but worth going to. It only takes about an hour--maybe less. But it was great to be in the place where Israel became a country. Our guide was excellent and we really learned the details of how it happen for Israel to become the jewish state that it is. well worth a visit.

Sitting in chairs around the area where history was made, you can visualize the excitement and listen to the actual voices when Israel was proclaimed a State. There are framed documents, photographs and articles in a side room. Interesting artwork on the walls.

Short inspiring movie followed by a visit to the Hall where it all happened. Be sure you have a tour guide to explain it all.

I feel that the world would be a better place if everyone in it attended and carefully considered the presentation at the Independence Hall Museum. It gave me such insight and clarity of the history and need for Israel as a Jewish State. Bring Kleenex!
