The perfect way to spend the day. Easy stroll from the port to Jaffa where you pass numerous beaches, cafes, restrooms and, of course, cats. As one Israeli told us, "We don't own cats. They own us." Here are some photos along the stroll. Enjoy.

A thriving and energetic promenade along the sea shore allows to walk around between lovely boutiques, restaurants, and ice-cream shops, enjoying a fresh sea breeze. This place is a great attraction almost all year long, except for few rainy days. Although it wakes up in the evening, it is actually open and welcoming all day long. It is crowded on... More

If it's a morning, noon or night you will find something to do in the port whether it's the fine farmer market the shops or the bar and restaurants.

Hire a bike for the day, you can ride for 30 min and return it, there are lots of returning and hiring posts on the street. You can ride all along the coast, from the port in the north till Yafo in the south. Have a coffee by the sea, or, even better, eat a real arab humous in Yafo... More

keeps renovating itself; great market on Thursday, and more and more new stores. Had breakfast at Yulia's and return the next day for dinner; both were amazing.

The Tel Aviv port is a good example of how you can take a fairly run down area and turn it into a modern setting with a wide boardwalk, a range of cafes and restaurants both outside and in, together with an attractive range of shops. A great place for brunch at the weekends.
