Although it does not look as if it is open to the public, the camel farm is. There are no tourist facilities as such and no camel rides, just cute camels to look at. But it is worth going along for ten minutes if only to see the adorable baby camels and there are all very well cared for.

I was not disappointed, but it was weird. It is owned by the King's uncle, viewed by many as a rather villainous sort. I cannot say anymore about the rather ominous encounter I had with Bahrain's equivalent of the Secret Service for accidentally parking my Mercedes in the wrong part of a completely empty lot with no signs, except that... During the pursuit of a place to live in Bahrain our Realtor took us here for a break from house hunting. We didn't really didn't interact with the animals during this visit as we weren't sure as to what was allowed. The next week we came again while on an Island tour sponsored by the Naval Base. Then it was... More

It is tucked away right off the road and is not marked or anything. It shares a little parking lot with some gaurded Bahrainian Military looking facility. Anyway, it is a large open area with a bunch of camels on leashes. Then another area with some fenced in camels. One of the workers (who was very friendly) took us to... More

Pretty much a lot of camels. The ones with an enclosure were very nice. The others had a chain to their feets. That was not very nice!

This was the coolest place ever- and it's not just for kids, my fiancé and I visited the camels and it was a great experience. The staff is very helpful and really wants to tell you about the farm. W were able to see 3 baby camels and feed them. Make sure to tip the staff a bit because they... More

For a change the place was spotless and clean a little odour of course. Nice for the children to see the baby camels.

This was a surprise -- my driver knew about it and it wasn't it the guidebook. I saw camels mating and also some 2-week old camels. We were told there are 600 camels there. No entrance fee and no guides, Just wandered around a bit. Pretty cool.

The movement you enter the place your feelings will take you to the olden arabian ages. Camels were their main transportation agents. I should thank the Farm Management for taking care these animals.
