As non-Muslims we were made to feel very welcome, allowed to observe prayers and shown around by a very friendly, welcoming and informative lady.

It is serene, airy, peaceful, beautiful, with friendly guides who answer questions freely without proselytizing and who go out of their way to treat non-Muslims with dignity. A house of worship and contemplation, instantly recognizable as such by even the most jaded atheist.

Had a really interesting and informative tour from Sultan. Mosque is also lovely, much more understated than other mosques in the region, and much nicer as a result. Opens at 9am, contrary to the 8am quoted on a lot of official literature (shut Fridays), tours free.

Interesting with helpful and enthusiastic guides. The full tour can drag on a bit. Women have to put on a head scarf and Abyah (provided for you) and no shorts or short sleeved tops for men. Easy to get to with ample free parking.

The mosque from inside and outside shows some impressive modern day islamic architecture. A nice way to get to know about islamic values. A must go if you are... More

I was not sure what to expect when going into the Mosque but it was actually quite welcoming. We were very very warmly greeted and welcomed to the Mosque. I was given assistance to get into the proper dress for women (which was an adventure all in itself) and then the 2 of us where given a private tour guide... More
