Excellent place to buy jewelry (silver and gold) , Persian carpets and all typical crafts, bargain is common!!!

Old bazar in very crowded area and it would be much better to finish your Tour by going to have Lunch in "sharafol islam" restaurant or "Moslem" Restaurant.Good to see once.

I loved the Bazar of Istanbul, but wait to see tehran Grand Bazaar. This is not a touristic bazar such as Istanbul, it is huge in size, practically structured per products category and always leaving place for bargains. The gold market is amazing. Bazaar is one of the historical place in Tehran , every people come to Bazaar for shopping but if you look better you can see there is live in this place of Tehran.

well,its really too far away for people who live in north parts of tehran and the fastest way to get there is to use the subway,and believe me you really do not want to do that,cause if your not lucky you will lost something.and the environment is not that specific as you expect.but its not bad for people who live... More

It's just a Bazaar..... I live in the ME and there are a lot of better ones. The one in Doha, Souq Waqif is smaller but way nicer.

I went there in the Friday noon.It s easy( may be the best way) to catch there by subway and in Friday catching subway is much easier because its holiday in Iran.The Bazaar station name is Galoobandak and its just a few steps from the Bazaar. Old bazzar Located in the heart of Tehran,very crowded ,but it worse To check once specially when ended your tour up dining in "sharafol Eslam" Restaurant.

i have been working there for more than 10 years , there is sooo crowd but normaly tourist like visit some places like this when they are coming to Tehran
