İt is ok and always the same. I should have wanted to listen Rai music. They have played a few times Turkish singer Tarkan's songs because there were many Turks arrived for 23rd April, their official festival. I missed Claude Challe style in Beirut. A glass of rose wine 10 us dollars.

Beirut's hot night spot is made in the classic Buddha Bar style with grand staircases curving down to the dining area and the lounge is upstairs. Having gone with my wife and exhausted after a long day we chose to eat dinner and leave by 11.30 PM or so. At that time the place was filled with diners but I... More

The food is excellent but... the music was so loud that conversations and eating became very painful. I play in a Rock band myself and love loud music. Buddha Bar was a few decibels short of causing bleeding ears. It hurt. Amidst our repeated requests, two waiters and the manager showed zero interest to address our complaint although the place... I've toured them all, the two Tao's in NY and Vegas (called Tao overthrere). The one in Beirut is huge, great atmosphere, the best among all. While the others are more like a restaurant, the Beirut's Buddha bar is a restaurant/nightclub. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Upper floor is fanastic, dinner menu is very limited and quite expensive (around 70 USD per person). Smoking is allowed in closed areas in Lebanon, so upper floor is quite foggy.

Even though there is a lot of competition around with all the rooftop night clubs, Buddah Bar will always, always, always show you a good time. Its atmosphere is timeless; its music, could not have been younger. Whether you're in for tasty food or for crazy partying music, Buddah Bar provides both beautifully.

The place has an amazing atmosphere with tasty food, but not recommended for dinner as the menu is really limited and pricy considered. But the happening place is the upper lounge/bar the dj is fantastic and plays Arabic songs along with the English so you get the sence of Lebanese songs.

First comes the lounge music typical to Buddhabar while you enjoy an exquisite Asian fusion or sushi meal on the bottom level. You can then move to the bar on the first floor for a drink. As the music intensifies ranging from hip hop to dance and trance with even a couple of Arabic or latin songs playing during the... More
