lively street with lots of cafes, restaurants and boutique, shops. the pubs and bar are good too and reminds me of europe.
Amazing area for walking around, shopping, or stopping at a cafe!
Main Night life of one city is in this street. many pubs and bar or night club , many hotel is available in Hamra.
Many shopping places... New trendy pubs and restaurants opened recently... The downside is its traffic... It also harbours famous universities and hospitals...
Liked people, shops, resturaunts. Disliked high traffic
Traffic on work-days moves at a snail's pace, with little to no traffic control signals at intersections (welcome to Beirut). Once on Hamra Street there seems a coffee shop at every half-bloc, most being major brand chains. The "restaurant" seemed of the cafe and fast-food type. I thought those one block off Hamra on parallel streets were quieter (relatively speaking)...

well known street, should visit there are some restaurant great there and have delicious food simply love it
