If you are in Beirut you have to take a trip and see this place. Regardless of the rather poor information it is h huge expirence to walk around this place

It wasn't very crowded when we went so we had ample space to walk around and "explore." The ruins were incredible!

Visiting the temples is like going through thousands of years of human history. One cannot help but be awed by the gigantic task, and the tremendous sacrifice by the slaves, involved in building the temples. visiting Baalbeck is a must. It is even better than Rome or anywhere else I have been.
