The Emirates Palace is an amazing hotel, opulent and no-expense spared. My room (Coral) was lovely even if it did overlook the car park. It's a grand hotel alright. But it's run by a Swiss firm. All slick and cool, if rather slow in the service department. Rooms are stunning, even the cheap ones, and the restaurants/cafes are great. If you are planning to go to Abu Dhabi, UAE, It's a must to visit the Emirates Palace. It might not be a 7 star hotel but for me it is, when it comes to architectural topic. more
