As people have said,if you are on a cruise the bus picks you up by the ship,well worth the money,they run regularly,and go to the main places of interest,while we were there a lot of road works by the emirates palace,so no one got off or on,didn't notice where bus stop was.but was good value.free bottles of water were available... Abu Dhabi does have very little to offer in terms or tourism.All the places worth seeing are like beach,heritage village,marina mall,emirates palace are very near and would only cost you less that 10 dhs to every place on a taxi.The only place far is the Sheik Zayed Mosque,which still on a taxi dosent cost much...

I bought a combined Dubai and Abu Dhabi at a cost of 350 Dirhams. We were actually on a cruise and the bus actually met us by the ship on the port. So this made it very easy. I'm a big fan of big bus as it bring you to all attraction places at reasonable price.The tour starts early,allowing passengers have enough time to spend. The staffs are informative.It would be even more great if big bus covers other cities like taiwan, hokkaido,korea and new zealand.
