Unfortunately there is still a long way to go for the site and the archeological teams. However, the informations from it are great it is just a pity that some statues had been removed to i.e. La Paz. However, great site to visit before going to Machu Piccu.

Tiwanaku is one of the highlights of my trip! The site is terrific, full of misterious and most of questions about tiwanaku civilizatin is still unanswered. It is very important to go on guided tour otherwise you will see only ruins and will not appriciate the place. I was fascinated by the stone faces of different races and monolitic people.... More
