The Museo de Oro is currently under renovation and a partial exhibit is on display at the Banco de la República (Bank of the Republic). The pieces are extraordinary and worth the visit. They allow pictures without flash. more

This place is not easy to find, but is worth looking for just for the sheer quantity and quantity of gold artifacts. The staff are friendly and there are guidebooks available. To cap it all, the gift shop is reasonable and has lots of cool stuff. more
